In most cases, our board-certified pediatricians will diagnose RSV based on your child’s symptoms and use the pulse oximeter to monitor oxygen levels to determine the appropriate response. Unfortunately, RSV needs to resolve on its own, as there is no specific treatment other than managing the symptoms.
That said, our pediatricians will do everything they can to prioritize your child’s health and safety. They operate under the same expectations and clinical quality measures they would uphold in their own office. If they feel they don’t have enough information to make a proper diagnosis, they will refer you to in-person care.
The good news is that we handle more than 80% of cases without families needing to leave home!
